  1. Personally, I hope they tear the whole thing down. Ugly, and it louses up a lot of views. Hopefully nobody here put any money into this.

  3. Dinner in a small french restaurant yesterday evening. Very reasonable prices. They even have Ricard and at 30 K (70 b) a shot, I had 3.... Had escargots, the owner told me he gets them in Java as they eat them there as well. TBH, nothing comparable with the real stuff. The goat cheese salad was ok, goat cheese probably dated a bit...not recommended to french kiss your gf after ! Chocolate mousse was nice, like at home. Anyway total damage 310 K (700 b), the 3 ricard and 2 glasses of red wine representing the best part of it ....as usual ! The place is a bit off the center, which explains the low prices. Next I was of to Casablanca bar to listen to the live band, but after 3 ricard and 2 red wines, 2 Bintang finished me off and left for home.at 10.30 .... The Wanchai warrior is getting old !

  8. Went to immigration this morning for photo shoot and fingerprints for my annual visa renewal. All smooth. Probably gonna explore a small French run restaurant (Yes Ayam) in Sanur in an hour, and maybe later drop by at Casablanca music bar for some live music and Bintang. Bachelor this week, the Miss is at a wedding in the village. No way to drag me there, 3 days of music and ceremonies....

  9. Following the current shenanigans re Brexit. I don't know whether to laugh or cry. The brexiters were promising the Earth, the moon and the stars, can't deliver so resign and run away from the mess. I'd love to slap a few of them ...

  11. I feel the same way. I don't care TBH if they have tattoos or not. I have a Sank Yant tattoo on my back done by the monks at Wat Bang Phra. Went with a TG who was getting one and said what the hell. I have traditional tattoos on both upper arms as well, so who am I to judge.

  12. Tats really have been popular both in Thailand and at home these past few years. I have no problem with them. If a girl is hot she is hot no matter!

  13. Tramp stamps as TA says and the more there are the more they look like a tramp. So many girls have them nowadays, don't like them at all. Remember back in the Philippines in the late 80's when I was staying in Angeles and most girls serving the air force boys didn't have tats. Every now and again you would see a girl with tats and you knew she was in from the naval base bars at Olongapo. Just a label really at the time, said where you came from and what type of girl you were. Seen old birds with tats on their legs in Tesco in Khon Kaen and straight away you knew what they had been doing when they were younger. Labeled

  14. Looks much better on a nice tanned skin, than on a white fat Aussie cow skin.....Believe me ! Nothing against tattoos, preferably color ones. But the full back religious or Thai script one are a turn off. Missus has about half a dozen and I like it.
