Never had much time for Ben, but he really lost me one new years eve... For those of you that know me, I consume maybe 4 g+t s and a bottle of red wine per year. On the NYE in question I rolled up to shhh, with th intention of dropping a few 1000 with a couple of friends, buying one particular girl a few drinks, prior to bf after midnight when the rates dropped. Started ok, drink for me, drink for her, mate had done the same, up jiggles Ben. "Evening mate" jiggle jiggle "happy new year", jiggle jiggle, to which I replied, politely. Ben looks at my orange juice... jiggle jiggle "orange juice mate?" Jiggle jiggle..."not going to have much fun on that are ya?" Jiggle jiggle. Walked off. Mate and I apologised to the girls, and check binned. Spent our money elsewhere. Girl called me the next day and came round in the afternoon. Her night was quiet, with no bf and only 3 drinks... she wasnt happy

Fixed it for you young man .....don;t boast about your drinking habits .......... mind you I once slipped you a crafty double gin and tonic in Secrets back in the day ..........

Just seen my wife out the door for her first day at her new job, very proud of her. Me, I am trying to make a cup of tea in silence as I have the wee one sleeping on the couch. Hope I get to savour my cuppa before she awakes. Just Kataleya and me, could get interesting; thankfully in my condition she will go to school in 4 hours and I can have my nap.

Coffee here for an hour or so. A good viewpoint in the afternoon for motorcycle pictures, providing it is bright but no strong direct sunlight. If there is strong sunshine, one is shooting into the sun which is no good. Another place is the Sports bar opposite Pook Complex (the one with the aeroplane above). From that location one is not shooting directly into the sun, but in bright sunshine there is a shadow of handlebars on the body of the rider. Care also needed at both locations to make sure that the scene and background are consistently lit, otherwise burnt out highlights and black shadows.

You saw the Dead in 1970? Lucky bastaad. I didn't have the pleasure of seeing them until 1983 and again in the 80's a few times. Then I followed them around in the early 90's on the East Coast. 23 concerts later I had to give it rest as I needed to get a career and my Dead Head days came to a close. Then when Jerry passed, my interest diminished even more.
