  1. You're absolutely wasted on this forum Spicy! All over the world from Totalitarian regimes, to Socialist states, to European and Western democracies, all having guidance from their best epidemiologists, virologist, scientists etc, they all have it wrong. Wee Spicy from Thailand 24/7 sex pest forum, when bored after a few bintangs at lunch, solves the biggest health crisis the world has seen in a century. Not only that, but does it with a few multicolured graphs. Tells all us lucky forum readers where they're going wrong. I'm so proud to be a member of this forum

  5. I think most governments have gone past the point of no return, in that they are so convinced that lockdown was the answer to containing it they have to keep going that route. If they put their hands up and say they were wrong, there has been a hell of a lot of damage done to people's lives and livelihoods for nothing, and no one wants to admit that. They have never been so desperate for a vaccine as they are now.

  8. How can he lower the price he's not going with the customers? The price they charge should be absolutely none of his or any managers or owners business. If I was a plumber and I showed up at a job I wouldn't be told what I could charge and what I couldn't. The girls are absolutely no different than the punters when I was working I wanted to make the maximum amount of money I could make for the job I was doing. Can not understand why guys think that the girls should be any different. This is where your negotiation skills come into play.

  20. On this day 14 years ago I landed at the old Bangkok airport ready for my new life. On the same day 14 years later I'm sitting here and I think I've finally realised that it's time to head back to England. That thought actually terrifies me now because although I know I've not had a great time here and right now isn't a great time to be here it's got to be better than going back to England which is in quite possibly the worst state it's ever been in. Have I regretted moving here ? Probably every day for the past 7-8 years I've regretted it but the thought was always in the back of my mind that maybe tomorrow will be a better day, sometimes on the odd day it was but the vast majority of the time I wished I had a time machine and could go back and give the younger me's head a wobble and let him see the future. I keep a diary on google Drive and for the last 3 years the entries for this date have been virtually the same, they weren't good days ! Reasons ? Well the big one is obviously the current situation with this alleged virus and my income here was quite simply tourist based, no tourists, no income. I've also never truly felt at home here, never felt as if I belonged and always had it in the back of my head that I wasn't ever truly welcome here, tolerated yes but welcome ? Also I'm finding that after 6 months of this virtually no income the strain on my mainly mental health is taking it's toll now. I've become very insular in that I really don't want to socialise now, I used to enjoy going out for a couple of beers with mates here but now with no mates here it's not been happening, I've tried going out alone a few times since the bars reopened but it did absolutely nothing for me, one time it felt like I was having some sort of mild panic attack and I just had to come back home ? Friends message me and I find it hard now to communicate with them as I'd rather just be left alone so now they're tending to leave me alone. I've got a good friend in the US that's a member here that tries to talk with me but I think now he thinks I'm just being ignorant, I'm not mate but it's an effort now to talk ! Other things ? One thing for me that I really miss from England are the seasons, summer winter etc, wind rain cold, weird I know but I used to love waking up and either thinking it's going to be a nice day today or looking out of my window and seeing the frost on the grass. We all know that here it's either hot or fooking hot 99% of the time. Also I do miss my friends from back home, long time friends that I'd known for years, I've met a few good people here but sadly I've met far more than my fair share of what I'd call total wankers here. So now I need to get the motivation and get my shit together and start sorting things here and back home too so I'm ready to jump on the plane. I said I'd give it 6 months when this crap started and I've given it 6 months, it's just my opinion that in another 6 months there still won't be tourists here in any numbers so it's time for me now to either take the plunge and go or become one of those homeless farangs sleeping on the beach. Sorry for the long rambling post but it may just help me start to make concrete plans ??

  26. Yorkshire beers I enjoy. First and foremost Theakstones "Old Peculiar". Lovely pint. Secondly, John Smiths Tadcaster bitter. I mostly drank this mixed 50/50 with a decent mild beer. A pint of mixed. If I drank it by itself, which I did on purpose on snooker night, it produced the smelliest farts I've ever produced. Honestly, they were wrank and I was always avoided at work the following morning!

  32. Spot on. Past 55 / 60 , dont buy, rent. Except if you want to hand it over to somebody .... Can't understand the obsession with ONE country or place.... I see same on some Indo forums...Paradise here, paradise there... Same on some Philipinnes Youtubers... I have a gipsy mentality, everywhere I went / worked / lived, it was just temporary. When I get bored with a place (and I always do after a few years) I move on. It gets a bit harder when getting old, but it ain't a reason to become soft. And a gogo girl is CERTAINLY not a good reason. But to each his own, and whatever floats anyone's boat.

  35. Bro .. don't think Thailand is a "catwalk" .. I have lived here over 20 - 25 years (?) ... Very easy to get "lured" into some bullshit ... don't trust ... make another person "earn" your trust .... Don"t purchase a condo .. maybe a car / truck for some freedom .. wait .. on purchasing a condo and forget BKK and Pattaya ... get to the deep South .. to the Adaman sea side ... fucking beautiful .. the thai people are super good down in that area of the woods .. a lot different from BKK ... Foot massages and finding gals are normal here .. 24/7 The "games" people play here are notorious .. a bunch of fucking farangs and the Thais in BKK ... not all .. for sure .. but most .. so be careful and keep and "eye" on your pocket book and your heart .... I think of BKK as a mini Brooklyn, New York ... keep your head firmly implanted on your shoulders and protect your heart .... and what I say is true ...

  37. I rode my wee Honda slowly down Soi 6 on Friday just to see if things had changed since I visited 3 weeks ago. Still lots of bars, but not quite so many. Still plenty girls, but not so many. Even less customers. Why anybody would consider investing in a bar in Soi 6 in the current climate is beyond me. How can you operate for the next 9 months or more without sufficient customers to make a profit?

  43. Survive how mate? They're selling off bars every chance they get. There's not enough customers to keep them going. Even the biggest optimist won't be putting money in that franchise now.

  44. Nightwish will survive, they may lose a few bars but they will survive, my guess is they will take on more 'investors'. I was one of the more optimistic people when this whole thing started, but now I would say you would have to be mental if you think tourists are going to return in any significant numbers within the next 6 months (at the very very least).

  48. Message I sent to Sai (Up Country) at 01:46 this early morning. ( Nong is the Thai lady who lives next door and looks after our house and garden whilst we are away. ) The view from our front door at 06:30 today Our Soi doing a good impression of a river! When this happened two years ago both my dogs caught a fish swimming in the road and Sai went out with a bucket !🤣 The back garden was looking a bit damp as well. By 08:00 the tide was going out and the driveway clear and given a wash down. If there is no more heavy rain it will be largely gone by this afternoon.
