  1. My buddy Boonchai from the gym Sunday....this guy is so strong, it's frightening. He just got married 2 weeks ago and told me his wife is already complaining that he spends too much time at the gym?? He said she is already a pain in the ass! Love it....one mellow, cool dude. One hell of a sense of humor too, tells me his wife threatened him that he will not get boom boom, unless he cuts back on his gym schedule. He told me no problem for him, there are plenty of massage parlors in the area....

  2. Pad Thai & pork sate at Save One market, with beer Chang. Five 500ml cans of ice cold Chang plus the grub B365 = around £8. & at last I remembered to take my thermos,so the Chang was cold to the last drop. PS also had my head sharpened while I was there.

  3. Taco Tuesday Cambodian Style Mexicano restaurant on the riverfront here in Phnom Penh really does fantastic Mexican food when I was here a month ago we tried it. It was that good that I made a point to get back there today for Taco Tuesday. One fish taco and one pastor beans rice some chips and salsa and a Coke and it was really really nice

  4. I don't know anything about the negotiations sale or the transfer cuz at the end of the day it's not my business anyway it's between them. But that said I'm surprised that Phil didn't take the time to explain to that guy what he feels needed to be done to continue to be successful. I mean let's face it Phil took a bar that was shit and turned it into a real winner so he leaves because it sold so quickly I don't even think he spent a week in there with a new owner I think he left just that very next weekend. I'm not blaming him it's not his problem anymore. But this is a good example they've lost your custom simply because they didn't see what they needed to do to keep football in there or so it seems I wish him the best of luck but it ain't going to be easy to continue the way egg had it.

  13. Sounds like a good time was had. I have had the holiday shack for 2 and half years now but have done very little fishing and crabbing. My mate who is a mad fisherman now comes up here a bit and he is getting me involved which is enjoyable.

  14. Brings back memories me and my buddy used to take my old 63 Chevy Impala that was all beat to hell get a case of beer and three or four crab traps. We would drive to Fort Point which is underneath the start of the Golden Gate Bridge Drive out onto the pier listen to music sitting in the car drinking beer and catching crabs man that was fun times. When we got a 50 lb rice sack full of rock crabs which looked very similar to the ones you have we would take them into Chinatown and there was a Chinese restaurant on Jackson Street who would give us $150 in food Credit in the restaurant for a sack of of them

  16. I had a trainee Dr finger me just after the Consultant proctologist fingered me. He had obviously done it many times before and was gentle , she on the other hand, had the face and hands of a 60 year old docker and the bedside manner of Dr Mengele.

  32. I wish I had your energy levels! I really enjoyed Nha Trang and Dalat. You are inspiring me to write a Vn trip report too. I am a little put off by the language barrier although as a single doing online dating, I had only nice experiences.

  33. We've probably all read about the Chinese takeover of Snooky and how it's nothing but casinos and high-rise buildings these days. This was the view of the town from Wat Leu, the temple up on the hill behind the town, back in 2005, though it's spread over such a large area that it's difficult to get it all in one photo. That's looking towards Occheuteal Beach and note the complete absence of anything high-rise, and the rest of the city to the right of the photo, over towards Victory Hill and the port area, was the same. I mentioned that I used to stay on Occheuteal Beach. Just behind it was a famous Snooky landmark, the Golden Lions traffic circle (that's a roundabout to us Brits). I took the left-hand snap back in 2005, and the town was much the same in all directions. Then a few months ago I was reading an article in The Times on the developments over the last decade or so in Cambodia and they included the photo on the right of what the Golden Lion traffic circle looks like nowadays. Call me a stick-in-the mud, but I much preferred it in the old days, though there's far more money sloshing around the place and I hope enough of it makes its way down to the ordinary Khmers.
