Stopped for lunch at a beach front restaurant in Bang por.veiw across the sea to Ko Phangan. Wie had a Pomelo and king prawn salad, I had larb moo tod.

Homemade chicken, bacon and egg pie. Fortunately it was good, as there's a lot of it left....!!

I would vote the Black Snake bar as having the worst location on Soi Bukow of any bar..... Its just a little to far from the market to attract any market people and on the other side its just out of sight and mind of even the very dead action street..... 99% of Phils customers will be customers GOING TO Phils bar.....With possibly a few Action Street high rollers...lol Phil better put the PR in high gear...ASAP

Same here. My home on the coast is mine, and no way would I let it whilst I was away. I've got 3 rentals at the moment, and having had 8 years of relatively few problems two sets of tenants have moved out. The first needed some building work done, not really the tenants fault but I wish they had reported it when it arose, and then redecorating, and the second is just plain filthy. Fortunately I've been able to do much of the decorating/maintenance stuff myself, otherwise all those savings made during the good years would soon have disappeared. Much of both sets of deposits have been kept, although one argued the toss about having to pay for cleaners... I'd sell them all, except no-one's buying...

Went for a good protein haul this evening, pork ribs, salmon, ribeye steak and chicken. Going to give KETO another try, for how long I don’t know, but sometimes you just snap when eating something you shouldn’t be late at night ….We shall see how it goes , but today I left for my walk on an empty stomach, shopped, didn’t get home until 9 pm, made steaks …..Honestly, feel awesome….I’ve gone zero-carb maybe 11 days at the most , but I heard the results are REALLY GOOD the longer you push and your body gets fat-adapted

A follow up on my reporting on pay-for-parking at The Avenue shopping center. Apparently they were not ready to start today as planned and a worker at one of the businesses believes that it will start on May 6. We will just have to see ....

Dinner last night at our favourite Lamai restaurant,SeventyFarenheit. Mains were a king prawn krapow and a lamb ragout with garlic creamed potatoes.

I didn't visit kep came straight to Kampot but all the roads that we took were fine no issues whatsoever it took 11 hours from Siem Reap but I took the sleeper bus and it was really comfortable I actually got hours of sleep while I didn't think I would each compartment is big enough for a 6-footer more than a 6-footer and you're going to be a little cramped. The busted stop a couple of times but I never got off because they had a toilet on the bus. It was a lot more comfortable than I thought it would be
