I've been back nearly 4 weeks. It's rained on every day bar 3. This morning yet another gale along the Solent.

I'm supposedly not returning to Thailand until October, but last Friday's miserable weather had me looking at flights for next week....

Hate to ask the inevitable question, but isn't it spring time over there now and the weather gets a bit better or is this just a rare occurence?

  2. I have NOT seen one water gun, high pressure or other wise in the last 5 days here on Beach Rd, at The Hard Rock.

As a general rule, most of this in Patts is done in the side Soi's?

Ok by me if that is the case....our last night here....everyday at the pool for at least an hour has been great.

  3. After dinner last night, wifey and I went over to see Phil. Was going to go tonite. Good decision as he is leaving today for Dallas,Texas. Tells me his is fascinated by the JFK assassination and is going to see it up close and personal. He will be on the "grassy knoll" in 2 days.

Have not seen Phil since Sept 2018, we did alot of catching up over the hour we were there. Great guy, talked music, concerts, health, and of course girls.

  4.    Last Friday went to the Car Show here.....tried taking the new "Pink Line" Disneyland Monorail system here that has finally finished here in Minburi, it was supposed to be done in 2014....oh well, TIT right?  It does not yet go all the way to Impact Arena, that portion that takes you right to the door will be done summer July 2025. For now, have to give it up to the locals, great system, fast, efficient etc. When you get to the "Si Rat" station, walk down to the bottom floor, right across the street a van is waiting to take you to Impact. 15 baht, 10 minute ride and all is well. Of course, I pray to Buddah that this driverless system that runs on "software" only, well...they didn't hire the guys that did the flight software for the Boeing 737 Max LOL!

So...different world we are living in today...I would say about half the cars there today, they are promoting are now " Electric" Alot of names I never heard of before....amazingly Tesla was NOT there at all. Vinfast Electric had some nice cars  (Vietnamese) Few others too.

But for me.....The BMW'S if i was in the market, still lead the way as far as overall style and luxury...I will  take the BMW X7.

Some nice looking models made the day...

  5. Hate to ask  the inevitable question and be " Danny The Downer"  today but.......how loud is the music going to be in this echo chamber? I suspect loud, Thai standard as usual. You will not be able to talk to your neighbor at all.

Last April at Frog's Land, wifey and I stopped by for a drink....check bin please after 1 drink. I could not hear a word she was saying...some might think that's a good thing LOL!

And........check with Bruno Mar's bookie and make a bet......does an Elvis impersonator make an appearance on opening night?

Great pic but the arms, head and boobs look out of sync lol.

I do get asked whether I want to continue to see pics like the one above in my feed, of course I say yes and they keep coming.

Yeah fully understand, about 2 months ago in my newsfeed, out of nowhere, this gal Mai Shiong started showing up literally everyday. Never heard of her at all......crazy....

Just noticed that if you like a few things on Facebook then your feed gets filled with subjects you like.

I now seem to get anything airline, classic films and wall to wall pics of big breasted women.

Also noted that Ai is generating a hell of a lot of photos of people like Gal Gadot, Salma Hayek and Nicole Scherzinger. The ones of Gal Gadot are lovely but so obviously AI.

Difficult to open the feed now in front of my daughter lol

Yeah I know what you mean.....I am now getting " I am looking for a husband" type things......

  9. Having coffee, breakfast soon. This afternoon wifey is going out for " girls afternoon out" They will eat everything they shouldn't LOL!

I am going to the Car Show at Impact Arena, will take the new "Monorail" system they have here that opened last Nov in Minburi called "The Pink Line" does not quite yet go all the way to Impact..one of the last stops has a shuttle that takes you over there.

I hope all is well, the Yellow Line yesterday was stopped, parts of the railing/concrete etc fell on to the street, people were let off in the middle of the railway and had to walk to the nearest station. I love Thailand.

I am hoping the "Triumph" girl is there, I kind of felt like last time I saw her, we had a connection :default_blum:

  10. @thumper63 @lazarus Great pics guys, well done.

Just doing some reminiscing from 2020 back home in "Man Jose" LOL!

Springtime with my Roses in front of the house and of course a trip to The Rose Garden locally. Few other pics....and cause the gym was not open back then, I was forced to use dumb bells at home.....and wifey thought my impression of Boris Johnson was pretty good. :default_goodjob:  The drive up Covid test was in full swing at that time too.

Of course when she would go out with 2 of her other Thai friends locally here...she would dress like a bar girl. Bitch rarely dressed like this for me LOL!

  11. Kind of a sad day for me, myself and 30 others just got an e-mail that my friend Rich passed away last night. His wife let us all know. Was wondering why i had not heard from him in a while, that is not like him. He would send me e-mails about what's going on in the Viet Coffee scene back home. Met him back in 2011 one Sat morning at one of the shops. Over the years, told him and showed him pics of my adventures here in Thailand. He had to go he told me.

He was a kick, we laid out this big plan so he could get here. He had me over for dinner one night back in 2012 to meet his wife. He told her I was a "professional photographer" and traveled all over Asia taking pic. I brought my laptop and showed her LOL! He too was a good photographer. So when she would leave the room, we would laugh like a bunch of High School kids you know?

So eventually he asked her if it would be OK if he went to Thailand with me one time? She eventually said OK and these pics were from his only time here back in Feb 2013 with me and my other friend Jim.. Needless to say he had a blast. 5 nights in Bangkok, 5 in Pattaya, theh he had to go home. In Bangkok one night, we picked up 3 gals from Black Pagoda, took them up to the Skybar at Sathorn. In Pattaya we stayed at Secrets, had a blast there too. One eveing in Patts, we went over to "Sabai Dee" Massage. I knew he would love the "soapy" adventure. We get in there, his eyes were huge looking at all of the gals in the fishbowl. He took the girl with the biggest tits, I knew he would. We had been drinking all night after dinner, we finish up there, get back to the floor and he was telling Jim and I that this gal was great. She was gently, gliding her "funbags" all over his erect cock! He had taken some Viagra before our arrival. Great times with Rich.

Sadly Renal Kidney failure got him his wife told us....he was 83 years old.

    RIP Rich..

Now recovering from yesterday's hash run. It was hot day out under the sun. Quite a bit of the trail was through cassava fields.

Quite happy when the trail brought us shade in rubber tree plantations.

9 km later the beer truck was in sight and liquid refreshments awaited.

Respect for doing this in that humidity!  Would be too tough on me.

In Bangkok on the way home,I met up with an old mate in Chequers on Soi Nana.

The guy on the right used to run Bobby's Arms which was in a car park in Patpong & later the Queen Vic on Soi 23 just outside of Cowboy. The guy with the beard is a friend of a friend.A great night of nostalgia wallowing.

    PHOTO-2024-03-24-00-21-51.jpg

The guy on the right kind of looks like Andy Warhol?
