  1. Salad and Pasta last night here.....quite tasty.
  2. Nice round of pics JL....that gal in the yellow is attractive. Did you ask her if she likes "older guys" LOL!
  3. Last night tried this new fish I had never had here..wifey tells me it is "Pa Gao" Fish. We bought at the Minburi open market last Saturday.......winner winner.
  4. Getting geeked up for my first visit to the new gym I joined yesterday. Will try to get some pics ( if anyone cares) Fitness First at Promenade, inside Fashion Island Mall. Some serious nice looking gals there...
  5. Great pics JL....Tiffany show still going huh? Remember first time ever seeing that back in 2004.
  6. Price wise for the one you are thinking about getting...what is it going to cost you? They do look fun...
  7. 10k huh? Well..the upside is if you burn that off then the gals will tell you "Khun ld Nannak dj Mak" 😛 I too got the SS increase notice.....nice. Agree about Robbie Williams, kind of like George Michael a bit perhaps, much more popular in the UK.....but he certainly had a following of girls in USA. The Crue and Def Leppard might be worth a look..my Son went to that same tour a few months back....said it was great.
  8. I use Thai Baht, for what ever reason they seem to get a bit better rate.
  9. Yep, going to to take a gamble here, Wells Fargo back home you can set up a "hit point" so to speak when you want to transfer money over here. I have a "hit point" of 40 baht for my next transfer. It will automatically kick in and you will get notified when/if it does happen. Maybe wishful thinking for 40, but I like to take a gamble now and then.
  10. Seriously they really said to you that you look fat? "Uaan"? I seem to recall that back in the 90's, a couple of gals that I worked with were " gushing" with smiles after seeing him in concert in San Francisco once. He was pretty popular back in the day huh?
  11. @lazarus Great timing huh? How long will it last? We'll see...but enjoy these great rates while we can.
  12. Like alot of us that have been around a while, we all long for the time when violence etc. was not so prevalent. There are no easy answers no doubt, the world has changed and not so sure for the better. I have never been one to live my life in fear, I am not going to start now, but....for those of us who have kids that have been a very important part of your life, I worry about them going forward. When you are in your 30's, you are in the peak of your life ( so to speak) you want to go out and do things, you are not the " sit around the house type" then you have to be aware of your surroundings these days. Sad...........but true. @Glasseye The incident you referred to must have hit home for you from North Carolina...just senseless. Same in Stockton, Calif for me, they arrested a guy who was just going around shooting people for what appears to be absolutely no reason. His MO was to go at night and if you happen to walk by him, he just turned around and shot you. Absolutely mind boggling the type of people out there today.
  13. Ditto on the weather here, really a pleasure to be back here when it is like this.....plus when the "Milf's" are on there walk down our street here, they stop and talk to me and I get things like "Oiii Miiiike, I not see you for long time, where U go"? Or " I not see you before, you lib here"? Usually about that time, wifey comes out and that fucks everything up for me LOL! Geez... some of these "Mom's" are quite nice looking around here......seriously! I have to tread lightly.......you all know the drill.
  14. Dam Stu, every time I turn on ANY friggan sports channel here, I can't escape Snooker! It's that popular huh across the pond?
  15. What's up gentlemen? Been a week or so since I have been back in the kingdom here. Jesus I have been " Comatosed" at night, the jet lag has just really set me back. Must be an age thing? Almost 4 years with NO International travel? Now I know how Michael Jackson felt when Dr. Conrad Murray had him hooked up to that IV LOL! Wifey tells me 3 days ago "I will be back in a bit, need to go do a few things" Ok..Get this knock on the door Sat and Home Pro is here with a new 65 inch 4K, ULED TV. She tells me "I get new TV for your loom upstairs for Football" I am going to keep her around a while I think LOL! Will catch up with all the threads soon.....good to see everyone is doing well.
  16. Final dinner pics with friends last night before heading back to LOS Sunday. I took this gal back in 1972 in High School to see "The Godfather" right? She remembered it well as she told me "You come pulling up in my driveway in that 69 VW, you thought you were a hot shot Baseball player and all"?? I told her " Well...if I would have made it to the big leagues, you might have been my trophy wife"!! We laughed hysterically...great gal after all these years.
  17. Christ, even Thailand cannot escape these things these days....wifey is really upset after telling me about this just now. What is wrong with our world?
  18. Yep all over the local news here, America is such a shit hole these days....you have to watch your back. Used to love this place, it is brutal to see the violent crime is at an epidemic level now. I tell my kids this all the time, be careful! If something does not feel right, get the hell out of there. I have never been one to "live my life in fear" I am not going to start now, but I am realistic about what goes on around here these days.
  19. Glad I got 37.70 Baht recently, was hoping for a miracle and thought it might get to 38.25 before I leave this Sunday heading back to LOS.....would have sent a bit more if it did.

This guy is going to have several teams " backing up the truck' to his house wanting to pay him big bucks this offseason. He turned down the Yankees offer....I think the Dodgers are going to make a big play for him this offseason.
  21. Well there is no BTS remotely close to Impact or Thunderdome Stadium. The traffic in Muang Thong Thani is brutal, I have been there many times and after my first concert ever there in Sept 2016 with "Queen" I vowed to never deal with that crap again....and I haven't. I see where you are coming up from Pattaya by taxi and staying at Marriott....if you have some flexibility in your hotel arrangements and would like a stress free place close to Thunderdome etc. I might suggest staying at "Novotel Impact" it is a 10 minute taxi to Thunderdome. The Thai buffet before events in that area at the hotel is second to none. For events at Impact, you walk in a "catwalk" over to Impact and are in the arena, bar area in 10 minutes and no humidity to deal with until you exit the " catwalk" and are in the pavilion area. Just saying....might be worth a look to stay at Novotel and you will be in Thunderdome in 10 minutes, dropped off right in front of the stadium, tons of taxi to get you back to Novotel right after the show and then you get back to the "loom" your wife will whisper in your ear " Khun ChiFlyer, I lub U, Welcome to the Jungle" and she will f**k you silly after seeing this concert...she will be completely "geeked up" How do I know this? After seeing Aerosmith in Las Vegas a few weeks back, we get back to the hotel and wifey says to me " Khun Miiiike, I lub U, you can get Back in The Saddle again" with me all night! LOL! Have a great time and look forward to a review and pictures....
  22. I would go to this concert if it was at Impact Arena....not interested in stadium shows outside in the humidity. This is right next to Impact...very close and right down the street. Will look forward to your pics..
