Wow! Wifey and I went to this park yesterday, we saw this part of the park that said "English Garden" There were some people there that she talked to that were from "Leicester" She told me "All the people that I have ever met from Britain, are always nice" I won't be showing her this article 😟

Just this morning, wifey is even lower then me. I notice though, after drinking even a small cup of coffee, it will jump to 123/70 or so. Any of you ever check your blood oxygen levels? We do that too. @Pumpuynarak Agree with you, took my blood pressure with my Dr. in Jan for my yearly physical, mine was a bit higher too. Diet and exercise are both key here...... I never use salt on anything...but my weakness is a bit of pepper on my food.

Wifey told me next time we go to Hua Hin, the Centara will be where we stay. Have never stayed there or Hilton.....any opinions on which is better?

Yep, LED'S are the way to go. Every light in wifey's house here are LED's. They are quite nice. They light up the room quite nicely.

Alan, my Son bought a Ninja last month.....first bike ever. He took all the training classes in the state of Calif, is now " certified" not sure exactly what that means, but has a Motorcycle License in the state of Calif. I am happy for him you know as a Father, always want your kids to have fun in life. Just worried the worst will happen, he now has a 6 month old Daughter and would hate to see anything go wrong you know.

Uh Oh, I hate to ruin the party here but....I still do not mind travelling. For me, since being retired, If things take a bit longer to deal with etc, since I now have the time and do not have to be anywhere, it doesn't bother me. Yeah people are ass-holes at times, as long as it does not infringe on me directly, I just try to ignore it. Can relate to Glass though, in Macau this past August, this dude blew by my wife in immigration and bumped into her pretty hard. I let him have it pretty good, people were looking at me like I was psycho, sometimes I do have a temper, wifey is pretty mellow. He did turn around and ack, typical punk ass asian. I thought at this age, I might feel differently, but I really don't. Just recently seeing Coldplay here, people told me the only reason they did not go was the traffic?? Really? I mean just plan ahead and deal with it. Neither my wife or I are the " sit around the house" type on our laptops or phones all day. Plenty of time later in life to do this, the way I see it.

Just curious, as I do not live in Pattaya but...with all these fancy/dancy new beer bars etc being opened, do any of you guys ever ask the owners directly if they make enough profit to keep going? Probably kind of a "taboo" subject, but after a while, I figured since alot of you guys go to these places alot....perhaps being either British or American ( assuming the owners are the same) they would kind of give you a peek into how they actually make it? I have been told for many years, at least in USA, that the mark up on alcohol is pretty profitable.

Ah Glass, your boy Yessongs was a huge presence in the clubs back in the 80's, that is where I met wifey #1. She was digging me, watching me "cut the rug" LOL! This one was played EVERYWHERE!

Ok so since no one has talked about life in USA...let me weigh in. Has there been changes there? Of course, some for the better, some for the worse, just like Thailand. Like most Americans, I am disgusted about the illegal immigration going on, high housing prices, the rise in overall crime, traffic etc. Don't get me wrong, I like Thailand as a general rule, but...I am not going to bash Calif. I have always been able to filter the "noise" coming from the Political side of things. I have always said and still tell people when they ask me, at the end of the day, I am still American and will always love my country. I still like Calif alot quite frankly, still have my home there, my Daughter is in Texas and my Son in Calif and for that reason alone, I will always want to be in USA at some point. I have also told many people when they ask me about Thailand, that quite frankly Thailand absolutely has some things America will never have, on the flip side, America has things Thailand will NEVER have...for me the weather in Calif is second to none year around. I hate the air pollution here like everyone else, and the dreadful humidity takes a toll on me too. Yes Thailand is cheaper to live, but I don't think that in my opinion, that makes it necessarily better. I certainly miss "sports" back home, I can no longer go to San Jose Giants Baseball games, no longer go see my old "alma mater" San Jose State play Football, can not see The San Jose Sharks play Hockey or go see The Golden State Warriors play Basketball anymore either. Wifey loves sports too, seeing it live, is so much better then on TV. These are just some of the things I miss from back home. At the end of the day, we all have choices we have to make that works for us.....

I was at that Electric Light Orchestra show Matt.....Sha Na Na were NOT the headliner.....they were terrible to say the least. ELO were at their peak around this time. Ah Winterland......god, what a place.
