  1. If Amazon were in charge of the vaccine rollout you can bet twice as many would have been vaccinated already.
  2. https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-55516277 Imagine how many people would have been vaccinated in the UK if professionals didn't have to go through diversity and inclusion before giving out vaccines. 🤡
  3. Don't need to now that 90% of the country is back under house arrest.
  4. Are the bars open or not? Seeing some are still live streaming from inside the bar.
  5. Rangers SPL champions 20/21.
  6. A good point was made elsewhere. This little uptick in cases has almost been a blessing in disguise. Prior to this Thailand had got off very lightly and therefore they had no real impetus to get more vaccines. Now the govt has been forced into overdrive to get more vaccines, apparently they will be getting some of the vaccine from as early as February now. So a chink of light at least.
  7. Good on them. After the year that everyone as had people deserve to let their hair down. As much as that might upset the snowflake sofa screamers.
  8. I'm working the night shift. My office is relatively close to the city centre, the place is a deserted, a ghost town. But anyway, good riddance to 2020, it can only get better.
  9. It's all very bizzare. Just yesterday the Thai was saying that people shouldn't celebrate NYE in large groups, and bars in BKK are closed, then all of a sudden they are allowed to open again. I think there are a few more interesting twists and turns to go before the end of the day.
  10. It appears Flowers may well have been right after all. Restaurants are allowed to open with certain conditions, bars in Bangkok are allowed to open to celebrate NYE, no mention of pattaya yet....
  11. An optimist is one way of putting it. The Thais have acted quickly, and decisively, although the initial decision to only lock down Burmese migrants in samut sakhon has proved an own goal. I think they will get it under control relatively quickly, but there will be a lag of 10-14 days before we see the peak, and then another few weeks after that before we see what impact the current restrictions are having.
  12. I hope and pray the bars won't be shut for the same length of time as they were the last time. I've read everything from Flowers saying they will be open tommo, to people saying it's up for review on the 15th of Jan.
  13. If things keep going at this rate it will be enforced. Players were blowing out of their arse after 30 mins. They are trying to cram too much football into such a short space of time.
  14. That track and trace if accurate is very impressive.
  15. One of the most boring games of football you will ever see. Both sets of players clearly knackered, league needs a break.
  16. Some Thai provinces including Chumphon and Phitsanulok are imposing 14 day quarantines on arrivals into their respective provinces from those travelling in from high risk provinces.
  17. Liverpool to win by four or more goals tonight.
  18. That's not unique to the covid extremists. They seem to think they are morally superior to anyone who questions anything about what's going on. Here in the UK people are being called bigots if they refuse to wear a mask.
  19. Bryan Flowers claiming its for one day because the PM is in town.
  20. A right kick in the bollocks for bars the day before what should have been one their busier nights.
