Well, I know the guy who originally brought this car north from California in the '70s - not the present owner because he was forced to sell it through divorce, along with other interesting cars he owned - but I figure he probably added these "defacing" safety features so he would feel more comfortable giving his small daughters and her friends rides around town in the car; then again, perhaps the car already had them thanks to a former owner who had similar concerns - do you want a museum piece or do you want a driveable car? I think you are the real "airbag" here.....

That thing has the structural integrity of a wet noodle so any additional safety items would be a welcome relief in an accident.

  3. The piston/sleeve or whatever that determines the height of the chair which you set by the lever is f*****, it has worked perfectly ok for 6 months.
BTW i'm only 93kg and in good fit for fighting shape [emoji1787] and it has seen some activities but nothing that would give rise to its malfunction other than the fact that its Chinese crap.
I recently purchased an office and I noticed a lot of the cheapies being sold are only rated to 80kg.

Secrets Hotel room service was great, would sometimes order it before I went back out in the evening. Pizza and chilli hot dogs were really good.

Yeah I'd be pissed if I stayed at a hotel and could not get an in-room meal (or an on-premises meal).
