Pattaya is located inbetween 2 large industrial area's... I reckon its pollution from them. There is no coal burning power stations in Chonburi.

People on extensions wont randomly be surprised by a request for insurance from some arsehole immigration officer... when this insurance requirement extends from those on a visa to include those on an extension it will be well publicized. No need to expect the unexpected in this instance.

Techically yes. I had a stroke a few years ago and am on hypertension meds since then and for the rest off my life so anything remotely related to high blood pressure wont be covered....I also suffer from peripheral artery disease i both legs (left 90% blocked/right 70% blocked) so there aint a whole lot left of me covered !! My work provides private health insurance but not sure how that works or what is covered.... they did not ask any questions relating to existing conditions.
