I hope there is a future for the place, always like staying there, so close for Walking street.

Understandable I guess, shame though as we always enjoyed coming downstairs early from the hotel rooms for our breakfast in there

Always had breakfast there when we'd be there for the month, often dinner and/or a late meal in there too. I hope it will re-open and gain success with the bar & kitchen, it's been all part of the experience for our stays. Its still a great location for us, as WS is our favourite area. Would be strange staying there without the bar/club/girls/food/partying etc downstairs though.

Yes I agree, that is the way I negotiate bars also 👍🏻 I am inferring that in Secrets hay day there were good managers there that socialised and promoted the bar (including forum promotion) it encouraged customers to visit, especially as it's location is not directly on Walking Street. From the looks of things there were many girls there when it first transformed into Scooters, yet it appears it might not have attracted a mass of clientele, and from the photos etc. at a guess it would seem to have seen a large reduction in girls. It certainly is a very low season, however some bars a maintaining regular customers. If Larry, Phil or Big Steve (RIP) were in attendance I believe it would probably be a whole different story.

So....is there actually not a fallang manager there at all ?

i hope it survives, I like the bar, and always stay in the hotel. The location is great as my favourite places to visit are in WS I'm keen to know what is going to happen....

im looking forward to Scooters at Secrets, and really hoping the hotel is stepping its up style & decoration just as the bar is, Ive always loved staying there.

To be fair, my comment of mostly Indian clientele was what we saw in the hotel on our last couple stays. I can only comment for the time we were there, and they don't use the bar. We were in the bar lots through our holiday and didn't see them in there. They didn't cause any kind of problems in either. As to the rooms, I'm referring to a lick of paint and maybe updating. A freshen up would be a pleasure. They are not dirty. My booking, and looking after has always been easy & excellent, and have always found you most accommodating with your efforts Dan. I enjoy the experience at the place, just point out that the rooms maybe a little tired.

Budweiser or red wine in the Uk. lots of vodka soda in Pattaya....

Personally, I will miss that forum. Hey I've loved that bar and the hotel for years. I'll miss the historic fun atmosphere of the bar, and the location of the hotel for Walking Street. I hope the adjourning door will remain open & is still going to give accessibility to and from both. I will say, the rooms really need to be cleaned up and updated. I think myself & Stax over the last few years were some of the few from the forum that actually used the bar and stayed in the hotel too, for a month at a time. Many on the forum liked the bar, but didn't seem to stay upstairs. I could kinda understand why. The bar has been suffering through the last years, really since it didn't have a falang manager. The hotel is always booked up, yet it has been booked on most floors with mostly Indians in recent years, who are not users of the bar, I'm not bitching, as I love the place, just voicing my viewpoint.
