  1. Likewise whilst rarely use them these days cant recall when I didnt need my passport Like most people dont like having to take it out of the safe for any reason !
  2. Production done for the BBC Narration by Noel Edmonds but dont let that put you off Really enjoyed it.....
  3. I just lobbed over £2000 via Wise landed "net" at 43.59 I always take the view (currently) that anything over 43.50 will suffice Managed in 2024 to get a lot over a lot of tranches at 45/46 so that would be nice again
  4. Yes they've limited my online transactions to just 5,000 as the OP system of a relatively new Huawei wont upgrade to their requirements I was going to buy new phone anyway (am not a big user of phones) so just got a Chinese Xgody which is fine but SCB want to send a OTP to True to enable app on new phone and very stupidly (and unlike me) I managed to let the old True Sim expire I need to get new Sim and go in the branch next time In town....for now the 5,000 online limit is not a problem per se
  5. Yes my oroginal point of view wasnt intended to inflame anyone re economy v business I could certainly afford the Biz but perphaps one of the reasons I do have money if the fact I wont waste it on what I consider unnecessary options I simply cant comprehend spending 65,000 Baht extra but acknowledge others do But then I dont consider flying on Air India of China Eastern a slightest problem so maybe my judgement is faulty 😁
  6. Have to be honest that whilst I have been upgraded many times down the years (mainly from FF accounts) I would simply never pay outright for BC in the first place Lets be extremely generous and say its only £1500 over and above the economy fare (currently I'm seeing around £500 give or take on economy flights that I'm looking at) in reality its more but we'll say £1500 Thats currently 65,000 Baht.....now thats an awful lot of action down Soi Bongkot for the pleasure of landing at Suvarnabhumbi 30 metres in front of economy better meals and a better seat Last time I was upgraded on an old 777 from Etihad in 2023 on the AD to Bangkok sector I was shocked how shight it was (it clearly was an old motor I acknowledge) I'm tall as well so often bit of a tight fit in economy but 65,000 Baht no way
  7. Someone asked on one of the Expat groups yesterday what were the top airlines anyone had flown London Bangkok It was tough question for me apart from top 2 which were outstanding....(I'm ignoring if transit was involved or whether flight was non stop) Singapore Airlines Cathay Pacific Emirates Eva Qantas (I'm leaving Qatar out of top 5 because of in my opinion the shight seats in economy) Honourable mentions to Gulf Oman BA (yes lol) Thai and Malaysian
  8. My last Huwaei has been traumatized twice Firstly in a fit of temper the Girlfriend threw it across the room and broke the screen. Sadly I clearly should have replaced the girl rather than getting another new screen as the bint then proceeeded whilst having another wobbler to throw it across a resturant leaving it terminally wounded....
  9. Yes Both Delhi and Mumbai both hugely upgraded since then
  10. Just standard economy think I paid £280 one way on the A350 via Delhi to Bangkok in 2024 and on their 777 via Mumbai last year was £301 from memory They get a bad rap unfortunately and I dont think its entirely justified Having done Biman Bangladesh, Uzebekistan, Aeroflot (both on there Ilyushin's and 777) Lot Airlines, Tarom all in the 1990's to Bangkok I'd say they were all considerably worse I've actually flown 33 different airlines (to or from specifically London Bangkok) and I'd put Eva top 5
  11. I've been on Air India twice recently one ways out of Heathrow once on their new A350 (at the time) in 2024 and again in 2025. Have to say they were fine lol as was Delhi and Mumbai As for Eva the glory days of Evergreen Deluxe which they renamed Elite now (unless changed again ?) was back in the 1990's when they used that 747 Combi where the nose section had the premium economy seats from memory only around £100 more than standard economy
  12. Just had a look on Ebay for same item 2 listings are new phones.....£170 Quite a difference for sure. Great price obvioiusly from Thailand
  13. The level of perversion on this forum is simply outstanding..........
