In the avenue, opposite my beloved food court, the tourist tat shop and the beauty salon that have both been there for some years have moved out

The good news is that it appears a "market" is opening on  the fake grass outside the food court.

Maybe they are hoping to surround the food court with market stalls so that you can't see how empty it is until you are inside...

Other good news... they have replaced some of the tables....

And the "lizard" is alive and well and enjoying the sun

Never had the pleasure of meeting this creature yet, is it friendly? 😄

I had my first visit to Pin Up agogo last night.     Just like Tantra they put the post for the table right up against the seat thus forcing you to share your table with the customer sitting next to you.  They are anticipating lots of Japanese and Korean customers crammed in I guess but it wasn't that way last night.   The line up wasn't so good so that's likely the reason.  The back seats are comfortable however but on this night nothing caught my eye.

Fahrenheit wasn't really crowded either.   The ladies I like there weren't present and the remaining staff were nice but no one else caught my eye.    To me the only value to these no-touch places is if they have stunners working.

Then changing directions, off to the Windmill which was packed.   Electric Blue was crowded too and I got reacquainted with an old friend with a new look that I approved of.   Finally Dolllhouse was crowded and always enjoyable and I spent most of my evening  upstairs.

I saw that the new Tee Rak agogo was open when I passed by.   I'll check that out next time.

Pizza in Soi Diana.

There's a new (to me) pizza place in Treetown, just next to the Bangkok Bank.  All pizzas 99 baht and a good selection to choose from.  Decent size and taste based on a sample size of one.

There’s a new Gigi opening soon in Soi Diamond. The sign has been outside for weeks now and the workmen have been in for about a month. Not a cheap refurb either, full JBL sound, Daikin Aircon. They had a staff meeting this afternoon. Have no idea when they are opening.
It’s a tiny bar and I can see them doing much but wish them well.

Well just as we move into a 7 month low season a new Agogo is opening soon my guess in 3 weeks or less. Located on Soi Boukow where the Great American sandwich shop was. The sandwich  shop failed and it was a beer bar 7th Heaven for a very short time that failed sooooooooooo Lets build a GoGo.

I went by today they have a small stage and the poles in it is a single shop house so small something along the lines of Pandoras on LK Metro or the old Smile between Mistys and Sapphire.

a novel idea for the city, I am only worried that it will attract the wrong "types' to an otherwise quiet backwater.

GOGO you say, with nubile young women draping themselves around shiny poles and sitting peoples knees.  PLease let me know when it opens and I will report it to the National front for Christian Beliefs in Aisia

😉  ffs..if they only knew the economics of most of the bird emporiums they would run a mile
