Cold beer.

Sport on TV if you so desire.

Choose your own music if you so desire.

Cold beer.

Have the option of sitting inside or out ......with air or without.

Non pushy staff... never been hassled for a drink with Alex there or not.

Clean premises.

Did I mention cold beer.

For me...there are plenty of reasons to go there...even if Alex is not there.

As the old saying goes...each to their own.

cheers

Even if Alex is not there, chance if you are a regular, may meet someone you know for a chinwag.

There again same for any regular watering hole I guess.

Top 10 Bars that have closed recently. Been in most of them ...this film really brings it home and a long way to go. Worth a sad look ...

Good presentation and thanks for posting - although I didn't frequent most of these venues, they still added to the atmosphere of the Pattaya that we knew and loved and illustrates all too clearly just how dire the situation has become there...

May I ask what's your reason ? I just hit a point 2 years ago where I was with a couple of mates upstairs in Kink and they were eating out girls which I used to have a thing for doing and it sort of hit home that I wasn't enjoying being there at all.

My last barfine was February 2019 and last paid for shag was June 2019, I see my ex every now and again and that will do me, just no interest in the p4p nowadays at all.

IMO its like a feeding time at the zoo I always seemed to be set upon and pestered by girls i would have no interest in

They say a 50/50 chance the Beer Garden might reopen if things get better...

Just a question to those in Pattaya.

I am starting to see on here a number of go gos offering opening up start dates. Now this is good news for those who love a go go experience but are there really that number of guys in town to support these clubs going forward.  Obviously there is a lack of tourists (2 week millionaires etc) who would normally be the focus of these clubs but are the expats that are living in and around the town going to be the demographic that supports these clubs beyond week 1.

When I lived in Pattaya (10 years) I rarely went to the go gos except when out socialising with mates on a special night out which usually started with dinner somewhere before heading to WS (maybe once or twice a month);  I spent most of my time on the dark side or when crossing the Sukhumvit I mainly hit the beer bars.  Go Gos were always just a distraction for me in my travels around town and never the norm. Now I wasn't always single so my trips were limited but even married I could enjoy what I liked and it wasn't always a go go.

It is positive that clubs etc want to open but as it is pretty obvious that those interested tourists are still a long way off returning to Thailand is the local monger/expat community going to be able to support all these clubs or will we see the opening and closing dates pretty close to each other..

Surprised to see that the Khao Man Gai shop on Soi Buakhao, known to many as 'Tin Cup' is closed.

This is what it looks like this afternoon..........the other one a couple of doors away is still in operation......
