Pattaya Go-go bars, beer bars & restaurants (News closures and Updates)

Is it just me or is the competition driving down, at least, the beer prices? During better more prosperous times, some beer bars were charging GoGo bar beer prices. It got to the point that I always asked how much for a bottle of beer besides asking how much for a lady drink before buying either. If this is the new trend, maybe I'll put Pattaya back on my rounds rather than Jomtien and Ban Chang.

On the site of the demolished Beer Bar complex between Sois 7 & 8 - A new smaller beer bar complex. How about that!

New structure setback from the sub Soi a bit - maybe space for tables seats etc out front.

A reasonable amount of space left down the site and at the back if it is a success ?

Down the soi behind 18 coins, rumour has it this will be a bar. If it is, it mist rank as one of the smallest in town.

Incidentally the cute lady who had a laundry here has moved about 15 metres further down the soi.

That’s cheaper than the wholesale price now.

Nice bar on Soi Diamond has been open two days. They have a few girls but no customers and by the looks of things and chatting to the owner they’re after the Korean/ Jap market.

Well just as we move into a 7 month low season a new Agogo is opening soon my guess in 3 weeks or less. Located on Soi Boukow where the Great American sandwich shop was. The sandwich  shop failed and it was a beer bar 7th Heaven for a very short time that failed sooooooooooo Lets build a GoGo.

I went by today they have a small stage and the poles in it is a single shop house so small something along the lines of Pandoras on LK Metro or the old Smile between Mistys and Sapphire.

Scaffolding up outside this place today putting up a name sign I think.

In my opinion they did a nice job on the inside with a small place they made the most of it. I wish him all the luck in the world they're going to need it based on location and the time of the year they're opening up.

The "italian" place on sou 15 under the urban condos, which I haven't seen more than 20 people in in total over 3 months, is in darkness. Outside furniture gone, windows blacked out , "closed for maintenance" sign in window. No indication of how long maintenance will take....

I ate there a few nights ago.  I was the only customer.  There was one lady working there who was  waitress, cashier and cook.    The meal was good, pasta with a cheese sauce.

That place has gone through many incarnations but never really attracted a customer base despite there being three condo complexes in the vicinity.   I suppose most people go to one of the places in The Avenue.

I hope they can come up with a formula for success.

I gave up giving it another chance a long time ago. The food and service were poor and overpriced. As you say, loads of potential customers in the vicinity, so the fact that it has failed tells its own story.

I suggest they have a relaunch and make it clear that they are making a fresh start.

I would love it to be a success as it is convenient for me.

For salmon lovers like myself this seems good value; that said I have not seen the portion size or quality.

I had it a couple of days ago - moderate size portion, but very enjoyable

Despite staying on soi 15, I dont think I've ever eated there.

I ate a lot at spaghetti bistro on soi 15 before that was demolished last summer. Walking past the urban place, it appeared the food was similar, but the urban was about 50% more expensive

I hope it doesn't just remain an empty shell for years to come
