It's no surprise really as the UK's national debt is now bigger than the size of the economy for the first time in decades. 

Then we have the Corona farce, social unrest and what's looking like a no deal Brexit. 

It will be somewhere between 30-35 before the year is out.

@dcfc2007That figure wouldn’t surprise me in the least mate. Gonna be a rough ride for many farang in Thailand, if they have based their retirement on a much higher rate. ☹️

The immediate outlook is bleak for sure. If I were a bar owner in Pattaya that's clientele was made up of mostly Brits, I would be keeping more of an eye on the GBP/THB numbers than the Covid-19 numbers.
