Wondering why the £ is not gaining heavily against the Baht when the £ has gained quite a few cents against the $ but taking a look at the THB/USD rate I can see the reason. The dollar has dropped from its highs against the baht.

The dollar was nudging 40 and the pound over 44, they always adjust it to bring it back down again.

Frustrating, but they been doing it for years now.

There is a variance between booths.  All taken around same time this morning.

I know that at the TT Exchange on Buakhou between Soi Diana and Soi LK, they check the electronic display behind you for the rate to use. It's not always the same as the rate in the window. No good complaining to Trading Standards here. :default_biggrin:

I found that the Indian guy in the middle of Soi Post Office gave better rates than TT. Also, open 24hrs.

See a few adds on the side of Baht Buses but never knew where it was based, the best rate I've seen was at the ME exchange outside the McD's on second road, the local TT exchange a few shops away was the only TT to match its price.
