Last one I was in they said they didn't sell Viagra. WTF ?

No wonder it went down.  lol

I sometimes go in the one at the Avenue. Very handy, except no Viagra.

Retaining walls going in at the Buakhao/Soi 15 construction site.

Site on 3rd Rd near Klang is now up to six floors.

Google Translate couldn't make much sense of the Thai sign at the construction site, but according to my TGF's translation the building is for some sort of business.

I got a couple of the Edge through the site entrance earlier today, but it'll have to wait until I can get wifi on my phone (long, and horing, story...!!)...

The new entrance to Mike's is now open to foot traffic

Not in Thailand, but maybe it could be a good example ?

India blows up illegal luxury high-rises

KOCHI, India: Two luxury waterfront high-rises in southern India were reduced to rubble in controlled explosions on Saturday in a rare example of authorities getting tough on builders who break environmental rules.

PS : Mods, I cant find the specific thread about that white elephant in Jomtien, hence I posted this here but you can move it.

No doubt this is a temporary market next to Nirun judging by thin layer of concrete with no rebar reinforcing.

Despite the sign saying it was a food  market, they've started off with plastic tat.  More structures now up and some concrete base laid, and the food sign moved down the street a bit.

I noticed too they had stocked the market, but also thought it's going to bloody hot in there with only the front side open for ventilation. As it happens, I snapped a pic of the new structure on my bike ride this morning. Looks like another first class, Thai quality concrete pad.

Too much to tell

But this year there should be positive news

I assume you mean positive for the hope-to--be owners, rather than for those of us who'd like to see most of it pulled down.

Is Pattaya turning into another Las Vegas?  Saw people here on the news tonite, real estate agents, people trying to sell homes etc.etc. with big upgrades if you buy. They showed Trump Tower Condiminiums that were just so overly over priced beyond belief. Same with hotels, too many Billion dollar hotels with very little occupancy.

Someone is taking a beating.............

So is the overall opinion that Pattaya too has fallen victim to over building at this point?
