Yeah porno mags LOL. Didn’t know they were still in print until I found a recent copy of Penthouse in a rubbish bin. At least these days if you claimed to be reading it for the articles you might actually be believed

I used to have to repair the rotary dial telephones when I was a young fellow starting out as a telephone technician.

I thought that was the 600 series. Might even have one in the junk box. Used to drag it out when I had line problems to prove it was not the phone.  NBN has put paid those checks.


The 610 socket was what it plugged into on the wall. Have installed one or two of them in my day.

Nope, the phones were the 800 series, the plugs and sockets were the 600 series.
