I tried to buy some about a year ago. I thought they might be useful in LOS.

Couldn't find anywhere that sold them. In fact, most places had never even heard of them.

It's been a very long time since I had to wear dress shoes, but when I did, galoshes/rubbers were a must have to protect the shoe. Especially in the northern climates when you had to walk through mush and snow. There are many a poor soul out there that still have to wear the monkey suit and dress shoes, so it's not too hard to find places that still sell them. If not local, then Amazon for sure.

Thanks.

However, I'm reluctant to buy any sort of footwear without being able to try it on first.

Lol Naf Naf wow that would have been around 90/1 with the Chipie and CP Company sweaters

The Kappa ski coat I meant was around 83/4 🤣🙈

Wot, no glass plates?

No, sold the large format camera a few years ago. Had a nice 4"x5" Sinar. With film and processing costs getting above $10 per shot, you planned your photos.

I have just had a mega clear out after redecoration/refurbishment etc.

I realised that I have been a hoarder.

Twin deck cassette player/recorder
2 Kodak film cameras
Boxes of Floppy disks. Don't have a floppy disc drive
Sinclair games console
Massive great PC B/W monitor (that is going straight to the skip
Zip recorder and disks
Old reels of recording tape and spools
A couple of DVD players (connect everything to my computer system these days)
2 compact CD players (I use my phone now) I think CDs are becoming obsolete
A black GPO style telephone (old style) might be worth a few quid, but have not used it for 30 odd years lol

Was it Naf Naf or Nafco54 though?!? 😁

Nafco54 was still going, not quite going strong, but actively selling clobber at least until a couple of years ago as I saw an advert advertising the whole company for sale.

Just a darn minute here! Still exists as do I and still use it. Never found a compelling reason to change.
