john luke
Pretty certain that I have seen and probably photographed this vehicle before on a previous trip.

Yessongs
Any idea on how much it cost to take a bike for maybe 4 hours in Pattaya? I never did, perhaps a future adventure? 1

Used to hire sportsbikes years ago, was 500b a day for a Honda CBR600RR back then. Needed it to go out to my mate's house in Bang Saray. coxyhog
I rented a Honda 750 on my first trip in 1981 because it was the biggest there was....soon realised it was pretty useless so the next few trips got a dirt bike. But I always had the sense to take it back to my digs before I got shitfaced.Eventually I saw sense & used a baht bus.I recently sold my Harley in the UK but if I'd changed the ownership to the missus I could've taken it to Thailand....f**k that I ain't ever riding a bike there again. 3

You know the Thai 'rules of the road' from living there. Always expect the unexpected... Actually that is the rule of riding a bike anywhere. It's probably safer to ride a bike in TH than in the Bay Area. So many idiot drivers these days...

I know him only to say hello and take photographs of his vehicles. He knows I would not be hiring one. Whether the price is negotiable, I do not know. These the lady advised 200 baht per hour. Never seen her before or spoken to her. Again I have no idea whether or not the price is negotiable. More importantly I did not discuss and have no idea about cost of insurance or indeed whether any insurance is offered. 1
Popular Post maipenrai
Here's my latest acquisition - my older brother is feeling his age these days and is having problems with his balance and other physical abilities so he has decided to give up on riding. Myself and a mutual friend are co-executors on his will and he told us recently that he plans to leave all of his machinery and tools to us, and would we like an advance on our inheritance? Well, gosh - if you insist; so out of three British bikes, I will take two and the friend one to add to the considerable collection he already has. This particular example is registered as a 1968 Triumph Trophy TR6 but has been built using parts from various other bikes so it's not a "numbers matching" original, but it looks good and sounds good and took little to get running after sitting for a couple of years: Stay tuned for the next machine, which I hope to get home and running before long... 6 1
