So, scrap meat.... mmmmmmm

I know -it's manufacturing process is disgusting (similar to hot dog process). But Scrapple is absolutely spiced superbly and a very, very tasty breakfast treat. :) When I mean "treat" it's not an everyday thing as 6 out of 7 days a week I usually a eat banana and bran cereal for breakfast.

Got given 3 of these today. Caught fresh and cooked on the trawler this morning.

So today, I will mainly be making Maryland crab cakes, crab salad and the the other two will go into Thai curries of various types, cooked by the wife, for her friends. 🤗

Visited Ruen Thai last night.  untitled-9657-1.thumb.jpg.390cfda7d839257461caefc20325fb06.jpg

The following are from the show.  It is very traditional and is what it is, presenting a nice environment for the meal.

Including the cocktail, the meal was under 1000 baht for two of us.  Pros are the fact that it is decent food, a wide variety on the menu and reasonable price, coupled with the stage show.  The 'con' for me is the fact that it is not totally enclosed and relies on fans to keep the temperature down.  Last night it was not too bad; it is one of the few non air conditioned restaurants that I visit.

Some familiar food there. Looks nice and well presented.
