lazarus
My last trip to SE Asia (2019) I spent several weeks in Yunnan (PRC). The year previous, a week in Yangon, Myanmar. Hope to get back to both countries once the pandemic is under control.

Easy and fascinating read about how China has the world sewn up for the future and 'Green Energy' is anything but. Really thought provoking. andycoll
Reading this. It would appear that Jeffrey Archer borrowed an episode of this man's life to use in the second book of his Clifton Chronicles series.

forcebwithu
Just started on the Bernie Gunther series. Only one chapter in and I'm already hooked. On another forum a BM posted this link. Bernie Gunther Books in Order: How to read Philip Kerr Series? Based on the suggestion in that link to read them in chronological order, I've started with this one.

andycoll
This. Although I don't know how long the series will last as the main character is down to only 4 fingers and no thumbs after only three books.
