Released today -

Certainly a lot of talk on the internet about this book and the supposed passing of the baton from father to son. Looking forward to reading it myself as I have reread most of the old books to pass my Lockdown time.

The 'Baton' is actually being passed to his younger brother.

I'm about a third or so through the book. It started off slow but is picking up the pace nicely now.

I guess that shows how much attention I pay to all the talk on the internet.

presume packed with care?

Nope, just the usual plastic bag, not even bubble paper.

But it's a second hand book, and in very decent state.

For the moment I stop ordering anything, as there are no international flights shipments takes ages.

The Dr Siri Paiboon series by Colin Cotterill.

I really enjoyed the Dr Siri books, read them when I was working in Laos a couple of years ago. They capture the spirit of the Lao people and culture superbly IMHO.
