Kasikorn Bank Mobile App

Recommended Posts

Yes and I find it quite good. First time you use it you need to be connected by mobile data to do the registration. After that you can connect via wifi on your phone. I can use it in Australia on my Thai phone connecting by wifi.

I can do all my normal banking jobs such as topping up the mobile and transferring money etc. You need to set up a 6 digit PIN though however once I logged on I setup finger print login so all is good.

Does anyone have and use this app?

If so opinions, please.

Use the Bangkok Bank one , plus apps for my credit cards ... all very useful, updates every time you use the cards , if anything unauthorised happens to your account you will know immediately

Use it regularly for transfers, card payments etc, one of the better bank apps.

Porn has this but I don't so maybe a good idea for me to do this.  As you say transferring money is definitely a reason to have the app.

Do Kasikorn have any charge for receiving transfers from overseas as I have used World Remit among others. I know if I use my bank with SWIFT there would be a charge but these transfer apps have a charge at the sending end, I wouldn't want to see a charge at the receiving end as well

Has anyone done international transfers from there website...

I tried a few years back and it just didn't leave my K-bank account.

I called into the bank to find out why and i was told I need to go to Pattaya Klang branch and fill out some papers before the transfer will be sent.

This was in 2016 so it may have changed and I'm sure I needed proof of the transfer to Thailand too.

Up until the end of 2017 I was doing monthly transfers back to Aus...... it was a bit of a pain to get it sorted initially..I will be setting it back up again next month so can update on the process then.
