This was the first time I had visited this attraction.  A friend of Mrs JL was visiting with husband and daughter; we hired a taxi to take us from Terminal 21 to Mini Siam, then to The Floating Market and finally onto The Chinese Temple at a cost of 1700 baht.  The hire period was from 1000 to 1615 hours and there were five persons in total. I visited The Floating Market previously however on this occasion I found it crowded and with very few shops of interest; a lot of cheap and nasty tat.  Finally the Chinese Temple was great.

Mini Siam is well worth a visit, I've been there at least five times already, last time with my wife, kids and parents in law. The time before that, I went there with just my fiancée (current wife) and at the ticket counter they thought she was Thai, so payed less for her entrance 😉

It's about 6 years since I went and the models seem to be in good condition still. Unusual for Thai maintenance. Great photos, it's a good day out but it gets hot as all in the open

It is mostly very well maintained (the airport model being the most obvious exception), I was there first sometime around 1995 (alone).
