I do like a bit of Blue. Best thing about the BA lounge these days is that they still have this after they've downgraded most of the other spirits and champs. Get funny looks pouring yourself a treble at 9am though 😁

I might be in Pattaya next week for a bit, I'll pop in if I am, how much is it, do I need to bring my credit card? 😉

Annoyed I never made it to Pattaya and Le Pub on this trip even though I had room booked and paid for at one of the nicer LK places for 2 nights 🙁 I was sick as a dog in Bangkok for 3-4 days and i'm sure it was down to the ridiculous pollution/smog, never seen or experienced it like that in 11 years of visiting before, on clear days the sun was totally blotted out by thick haze all across the city. I was passed out/slept for 25 hours out of 48 at the worst of it, horrid thick sticky throat and chest for 2 weeks after.

Crab Bar maybe?  It's at the 2nd Rd. end, on the left as you're walking toward 2nd Rd.

Thanks for the info, never hung around at that end, 20 years ago I was a frequent visitor at Starlight Beer Bar, right opposite Diamond Beach hotel, but that's long gone.

It's one or two down from the location of my old bar.  Casino Club used to be across the street.  Would have been a great soi if it was wide enough; as it was it was so narrow customers couldn't read the signs.

Happy Buddha Day and Le Pub going from strength to strength. Becoming an essential must visit place on Le Grand tour for all travellers.

Bit like Doges Palace Venice in the 18th century or the Uffizi gallery in ...........  well it's a great little bar anyway and yes unlike Scooters music is not too loud.

Hey Phil, arriving in Patts on March 2nd. Plan to come by within a day or two after. When's the last time you had any tasty fudge? I'll be bringing some homemade dark chocolate and peanut butter for you and your cook, Eileen is it?

Very happy for all your success, the abundance of mates from all corners of the world who have come down for a drink and some laughs. I imagine from time to time, you stand in the back behind the bar and just observe the revelry going on in front of you with guys and girls, music and sport, people all having a great time at a little old bar that you conceived in your mind, and with a lot of hard work and sweat, were able to make that dream come alive.

It will be a pleasure to be a small part of all the fun in a couple of weeks. As to any sweet tooth that might be ailing you, therapy is on the way.

Save me a few cold one's!

Hey smoothie, glad you made it over here. Ilene is my cook and I’ll let her know if your impending arrival.

Yes, sometimes I do just look around and enjoy the fruits of my labor, although it wasn’t really conceived, I just added features and ideas as I went along.

The bar is all about the staff really and not me. But I thank you for your kind words and see you soon.
