Yes it was. It was a great drive limited to 155mph and there was'nt much that could see it off. I had it for 3 years and did 40K miles driving from Southampton to Bournemouth daily across the New Forest on dual carriageway, it was real fun.

Ahh the memories :default_party-smiley-048:

Great cars, i had a non Evo in Techno Violet a few times. I liked how the non Evo had a very linear power delivery.

I only had two 'memorable cars. A 1966 Nissan Silvia coupe and a 1968 Mustang 390ci. Very envious of guys that live in the US/Europe without Australia's huge import tariffs

Oh, and a bit more up to date, I saw my first one of these today.

It didn't stand out at all, totally anonymous looking, I walked right past it and got in my car next to it. Could have been any Jap/Koren mid-size SUV.

Then as I looked over my shoulder before reversing out I thought, is that an Aston Martin door handle?

Which indeed it was.

that's a good spot right there although I'm not 100% convinced on the rear end styling.

I reckon it would struggle on the hills!  straight.

Fixed that.

I think I'd prefer a camper van myself, although they are prohibitively expensive these days for a classic.

Butt-ugly (literally) like most other modern offerings...what ever happened to the crisp, clean designs of around twenty years ago?
