Is that one of the 6 cars Joe Pesci switched around, to get to his meeting in the desert in Casino?

Hah...

I had one back in my Seattle Days...Summer '02. Bought from an old Norwegian guy for $2000...had about 75k miles on it.

Drove it up to BC...Cortes Island with my dear old friend. Gave it to her as a gift...was still running strong when she died in 2020. She beat the crap out it tho...

Lovely old Bimmer, but I'd like to know the significance of the modified model tag - BMW never made a "332", perhaps this has a punched-out 330 motor?

maybe just having a little fun with the bimmer boyz...?

Thats the first thing i noticed G 👍

I did a little research and it looks like a '332is' is the 'Frankenstein' badge for a Euro marriage of a 325is/3series and a M3 motor. There's a lot of variations...

Has a look of Lotus to me, stylish

Yessir.

From the wiki...

"The Tesla Roadster is a battery electric vehicle (BEV) sports car, based on the Lotus Elise chassis."

"Tesla produced the Roadster until January 2012, when its supply of Lotus gliders ran out, as its contract with Lotus Cars for 2,500 gliders expired at the end of 2011."

"On July 11, 2005, Tesla and British sports car maker Lotus entered an agreement about products and services based on the Lotus Elise, where Lotus provided advice on designing and developing a vehicle as well as producing partly assembled vehicles,[51] and amended in 2009,[52] helped with basic chassis development. The Roadster has a parts overlap of roughly 6% with the Lotus Elise,[53] a 2-inch-longer wheelbase, and a slightly stiffer chassis..."

"...in 2018, Musk would go on to say that using the Lotus Elise as a base for the Roadster was a poor strategy. This is because the Elise was incompatible with the intended AC Propulsion technology, and was modified so extensively only 7% of the original Elise remained in the final production version."
