J.C on immigration cooking the retiree frog..

Recommended Posts

I agree with all of this.....

Things did not get like this overnight.....

Each new immigration change for the last 10 years has been for the worse....

So it seems the only change immigration wants is more bad change....So expect more bad...

Ok, I listened 4 minutes and ran out of patience.

Plenty countries that welcome pensioners, no need to beg. Its OUR money.

My thoughts as well. 7 years ago got a Resident Retirement Visa in Philippines. Its a Lifetime visa, no reporting, no annual extensions etc. Never been in an IO in the 7 years. Spend 5 months a year in Pattaya as a tourist

Got my passport back this morning, retirement visa extended 1 year.

No bank deposit, no 90 day reporting, no TM30 BS,

Visa goes with a 1 year MERP Multiple Entry Re Entry Permit, meaning I can leave and come back as I want.

TBH, I wouldn't stand this Thai immigration hassle. Just would move elsewhere.

Dear oh dear...I hope he realizes that he does not talk for all that are here as some of the stuff he says is garbage and is it any wonder why the Thais Immigration get pissed off with some of their "customers" like this bloke. If he does not like staying here... and it is not hard to do so....then pack up and go home...… comes across as just another foreigner in Thailand telling the Thais how to run their country.

Before telling another country how to fix their "perceived" immigration policy.... maybe he should have a good look at his own countries immigration policy and how it is run before criticizing others.

If he needs a lift to the airport to leave...will gladly help him out.

cheers
