Jeez, that is nothing compared to Srinakarin and Ramkhamhaeng here in BKK ... they are building the above ground MTR extension ... it has been going on for well over a year and was just recently told it would not be finished for another 4 years ... it sure fucks up traffic ....

3rd Road has been a mess for quite a few months now. What I don't get is they've been boring under the road surface (2nd pic), and then pulling the heavy plastic conduit through the hole. But then after they finish that part they dig a trench (1st pic) in the same spot for what I'm not sure. Point is, if they're going to dig a trench, why bother boring a hole.

f**k sake, gonna hit this in about 90 mins and the usual Friday traffic anyway!

     They started on Klang down near 2nd Road last June. Were working there way towards 3rd for 2 1/2 months when I was there.

    It helped create an impression the city was busy during the low season by creating traffic jams.
