Farangs who don’t wear face masks should be kicked out of Thailand says health minister

Saw this video posted on Facebook. Most of the comments from Thais were apologies for this ass hat's idiotic rant. They wanted to make it clear that is was without a doubt not opinion of the Thai people toward farangs about the silly masks.

I think he was more pissed off that someone he perceived of lower status had the audacity to say no to him.

Whatever, it shows clearly what most of the guys in the govt think about foreigners. The top boss included.

masks help reduce transmission..wtf is the problem...given that the non mask wearer is a another potential vector

Its not a xenophobic thing ...just fucking common sense

The masks they were handing out weren't sealed and he was using his bare hands .. not much common sense being shown by the health minister

Mask are not really effective.... But probably makes everybody feel safer... I doubt many westerners in HKG wear them.

Meanwhile, remember Big Brother ?

My mate in China has got a visa waiver for his wife from the UK embassy so will be arriving soon.

He's going into self imposed quarantine for a couple of weeks then they're coming to stay with us.

The good news is our two wives get along like a house on fire and have a shared interest....cooking.

The bad news is for my liver....

It comes as a Chinese official confirmed a worrying new fact about the deadly coronavirus; infections are taking place through aerosol transmission.

However, over the weekend, an official in Shanghai confirmed the virus also travelled through aerosol transmission, which means it can float a long distance through the air and cause infection later when it is breathed in.

“Aerosol transmission refers to the mixing of the virus with droplets in the air to form aerosols, which causes infection after inhalation, according to medical experts,” Shanghai Civil Affairs Bureau deputy head Zeng Qun said.

While reading the "dramatic" numbers of death in the media, one should keep in mind the "natural" number of deaths in the China which is (depending on the sources) between 10 and 11 million per year.

This calculates to  27,400 per day !
