It might be worth changing the fuel pump on it after it's been standing that long as when they pack up they pack up without warning and it'll probably be in the middle of nowhere when it happens. And think about the drive belt too as they dry up and crack if they're not used.

I have another Airblade down in Bangsaray but that one is 5 years old and has fuel injection. About a month ago as I was driving back to Bangsaray from Pattaya the drive belt packed up but I rolled to a stop almost next to a motorcycle repair shop. He had a new one fitted in 20 minutes and changed the airfilter as well. Very thorough at getting all the bits of old drive belt removed.

I think the air filter is all clogged up on the refurbished Airblade as well but for me I don't think that is easily accessible as I believe unlike my current Airblade you have to remove the fuel tank to get to it. I think I will leave the mechanical services to the local repair shop.

On the carb version of the Airblade like yours the air filter is above the rear wheel and easy enough to get at it from the rear of the bike with a Phillips screwdriver. The electric fuel pump and fuel filter ( yes there is one ! ) are under the fuel tank and a pain in the ass to get at, hence the filter and pump get neglected.

Oh and if you think the air filter is blocked you may want to check the vacuum pipes that run from the carb to here there and everywhere, they perish and cause the bike to lose power the same as if the air filter's blocked.

Edit

The air filter on your bike is in the same place as this one on a friends old Click, same running gear.
