She just smiled at me and said dai ... which means can ... I am pretty certain small local shop stores all throughout Thailand will not stop selling beer or anything else you want .... it is the only way they can stay in business ..... and I am sure their little business is more important to them than "orders" .... 2

Yeah, I used to shop in a small mom & pop store in Jomtien when I lived there. One election day I was out of beer so went to the shop and picked up half a dozen bottles. The lady in charge was looking at her TV and mumbling at me, "Have election today, krup, no can sell alcohol," while packing my beer into a plastic carrier and taking the money for it off me. Got to love the ordinary Thai people. 3
fforest
If the little shops dont have supply they will not be selling beer....The alcohol ban could go on for months....

Thai Spice
Well, it didn't take long for a movie to come.out on this..... And guess who raises its ugly head ? Racism..... "Seven people stuck in a lift. Then one coughs... Corona: Fear is a Virus tells the story of seven people trapped in a lift and the chaos that ensues when one of them starts to cough. It's thought to be the first film about the disease. Its Canadian director, Mostafa Keshvari, talked to the BBC's Tom Brook." https://www.bbc.com/news/video_and_audio/headlines/52232382/coronavirus-seven-people-stuck-in-a-lift-then-one-coughs

dcfc2007
Can anybody really defend the proportionality of this response now. I'm all for tackling this virus and trying to save as many lives as possible, but this has just gone completely bonkers now.

People are being fined for driving to beauty spots on their own, just so they can enjoy the outdoors. It's absolutely bat shit crazy.
