COVID 19 GLOBAL

I think these so call soft briefings are designed to soften up the UK population for another full lockdown.

Government put it out there and see how it goes down with the people first.

Personally, I’ve suspected another full lockdown was inevitable because of the numbers and because people are so confused with the different rules and changes in so many areas, it’s almost impossible to keep up with the rules.

Anyway, we’re sticking to the rule of 6 in our house.
Me, my wife and son and 3 bottles of Merlot.🍷🍷🍷👍

I suspect there will be another wave of panic buying

The toilet paper and pasta hoarders will be out in full swing

I plan to get some emergency supplies later but bet Sainsbury's will be out of Vodka and tomato juice but still hoping.

I shall be stocking up on my supply of porn

No room left in my freezer. Have enough food for 3 weeks.

It's going to be grim again but the alternative of shutting down  Xmas are worse.

It is unfortunate that many are unable to police themselves and we are all going to suffer.

This is not a Hoax, not a conspiracy, its real.  Happening here and in many places around the world.

64k in one month died..did I read that right!

About 19,000 more deaths than a normal year... "42% spike" ...

Covid & flu = apples & oranges

If everyone wore masks when around other people , got tested & stayed home when sick (or tested positive) the damn thing would die out on its own.

People can't seem to do that though.

Covid and flu apples and oranges it's as maybe my point being there were still a lot of deaths in one year from it in the UK and we are locking down the UK on the back of 40 odd thousand supposed deaths everything is getting reported as Covid no matter what .

No worries stay behind your sofa and let those that want to work and live get on with it.

Watch the video and pick him apart if you can.

a separate document circulating in government - based on NHS England modelling from 28 October - warns that the NHS would be unable to accept any more patients by Christmas, even if the Nightingale hospitals are used and non-urgent procedures cancelled.

The document warns that south-west England and the Midlands will be the first to run out of capacity, potentially within a fortnight.

How if I still keep my distance and do all the right things we have been told to do?

I didn't say once I never did those did I ? 🤔

I am self employed and can keep a distance , don't you think sending kids to school is spreading it? I should know I have two kids one in high school and one in junior school and I know how many times they have been sent home and how many teachers have supposedly had it too.

You wont see me keeping them off though , they need an education just as we need to get on with our lifes.

You still haven't watched that video have you? 😉

It was interesting to watch, although a bit repetative, I had to skip through it once the main message was heard.

Looks like we are on the same page then, whether we are told to or decide to. Kids are still going to school here.

I think that it is mainly young adults who are spreading the Virus, by ignoring it and thinking that they are safe, whilst spreading it to their families and older people. That is my opinion

What they don't seem to understand is, that the longer this all goes on, the longer it will impact on their later life and the economic circumstances that they may find themselves in.

For, the logic, is that if everyone tows the line for a while, then it will be better for all. But as long as a substantial number ignore the rules or whatever we call them, then it's pointless in others being responsible.

What we do know for certain, in the UK anyway, is that a lockdown brought the infection rate down significantly to partially open up again. Unfortunately, lots of people treated it as if we were back to normal again and that it was all over.  And now, a second wave.

The way I see it, is that we have a National/Social responsibility to work together. It's not just about being told what and what not to do by government.

The virus is not going to disappear, but if we can at least starve it until either a vaccine arrives and or more radical treatment for those who are most vulnerable to secondary illness, then we will be on the right track.

I am in a high risk group. I have paid my taxes and N.i contributions for years. Why should we be treated any differently or written off as cannon Fodder?.

We all need to look after eachother for our own sakes and for the next generation.

You shouldn't be written off either it's all about choices that's what im saying.

I've seen a lot of older people completely lose the plot mentally through all this and that was in a decent summer, what this will do to them (another lockdown) i've no idea and it won't be pretty.

One things for sure as long as I haven't got any symptoms and have done the right thing I ain't staying away from my parents
