Popular Post tommy dee
Friday saw a huge queue outside our studios , about 1000, for free food. helping us was the inimitable Mr. Egg, le bub, who has been out to us twice to help for free. When you wonder about people standing in line for 4 hours for food, which has to be proof they need it, both I and Egg were totally fucked after just 90 minutes of handing out the bags, milk and water. Whilst my health isnt the best, I was seriously concerned for Egg as he crashed at the end. the heat got to him as it did us all. Scrambled for sure, and you gotta love him, sat with his head in his hands trying to recover he had been an amazing help to us. just goes to show how hard he worked. ( I sat watching of course i dont do manual labour ;) ) Thanks Phil.. superstar mate. cheque is in the post 17
Popular Post thumper63
Good on you both. Here as in Pattaya the food lines are simply heart breaking. And the true heros are those who serve the masses 6

farangme
It is amazing what you guys are doing but very very sad that a Country, Government are willing to starve it's poorest people and pretend they don't exist.

They are hardly going to report on farlangs feeding large numbers of hungry Thai's because the local Thai authorities are unwilling , surely not unable, to do so themselves. The ultimate loss of face. 5 1

The ultimate loss of face. I agree. My reply was just a quick response back to Nadia to tell him that the Bangkok Post was aware of the campaign- clumsy grammar on my part. I'm chalking it down to my Sunday morning, semi-hungover state😁 Edited May 24, 2020 by Lemondropkid

Nightcrawler
I think that many of the Thai locals in Pattaya will be grateful to the assistance given by westerners during difficult times and see that we are compassionate and care about the city that has provided so much pleasure to Western tourists and expats alike who are concerned for the welfare of the Thai people I would hope that the genuine concern from westerners during this difficult time with be remembered and go some way to improving relationships and attitudes toward visitors and just see us as sex tourists Those who have given their time, money and care over the last few months are great ambassadors for promoting unity amongst Thais and Falang 2
