fygjam
When you make something out of foam and plastic you have to expect these things. Manufactured and assembled at the Composite Manufacturing Center in Frederickson, Washington, the vertical fin is the largest primary structure of the 787 airframe built by an internal Boeing supplier. Actually the flash name for composites is carbon fibre reinforced plastic (CFRP). The epoxies typically used are classed as thermosetting plastics.
