My laptop was suffering from overheating, probably due to the excessive heat and humidity here..

I bought a CoolerMaster Laptop Stand, it has 3 fans, which keeps the components cool..

Good suggestion. For my laptop I've found it's enough just to keep it off the the desktop using a collapsible laptop stand. Handy for traveling as when folded it doesn't take up much space.

Awhile back my monitors which are connected to a hub were starting to act flaky. Figured it was because the hub was overheating, so hot glued a couple of old pens to the base to allow air to circulate underneath. Haven't had a problem with the monitors since then.

Your post got me to thinking I should invest in a cooling system for my laptop. Decided to splurge and bought the one pictured below from Lazada for the eye watering cost of 65B + 22B shipping. 💸 My biggest concern was the fans would be too loud, but when I turned it on I was amazed how quiet it is.

My all in one Acer PC is getting on for 8 years old and i'm thinking of getting a new one, my old one is starting to really slow up and do strange things and i can quite see the day when nothing happens on fire up. Now i really like the all in one PC's with wifi mouse and keyboard and have been really happy with the Acer and i see on Lazada i can get an Acer AIO C24 PC for 25K, would this PC and its specs be a good buy ?

Now my problems really start when i want to transfer everything over to my new PC, now i've researched google so i have some ideas as to what to do but is there any concrete advice you can give me ?

Thanks guys in anticipation.

I would get a laptop with an i7 CPU because it can handle large HEVC 1080p video files. The newer generation i7s can play 2160p HEVC files.

Looks like my porn collection isn't as large as yours. :default_2guns:

Your CPU is running a lot cooler than mine.

I run a lot of virtual machines although not at the same time. Each one single purpose with about a 100GB hard disk.

Air cooled.

Noctua NH-U12S. Can run 2 fans in push/pull but I only need the push.

I didn't include my USB drives.

First got a Samsung 500GB drive.

Then Seagate brought out the 1TB USB drive so I got one.

Then they brought out the 2TB, have one of them also.

Then the 3TB and after that a 4TB.

Thinking about the 8TB but if I clean up the existing drives would probably have enough space. Mainly keep various system disk backups on the USB drives.
