john luke
Visited Naklua Night Market this evening. It operates on Friday, Saturday and Sunday evenings into March. It is mainly a food market, however there are other stalls. A couple of groups providing entertainment and a number of freelance entertainers. Plenty of tables is one wants to dine and are happy with street type food.

john luke
This may or may not interest some members. I was a regular at the Amari Hotels prior to investing in a condo. There were two hotels on the site; the Amari Orchid was the older of the two and was a four star hotel. The Amari Ocean, formally the Amari Tower was the newer hotel; it was a five star hotel and was quite luxurious. The older hotel was demolished last year and a new hotel is now in the process of replacing it. The Mantra Restaurant is on the site; it is classy but expensive by local standards. The only entrance now is from Beach Road. The other entrance now leads only to the building site and is where the lottery ticket seller was trading. For me both hotels were on the baht bus route and within walking distance of both Beach Road and Second Road. Now within walking distance from Terminal 21.
