@john luke

That's the KTM 390 Duke and they are brilliant bikes.About 45hp and will do about 100mph,so great for daily use or a bit of fun at weekends.I would like one myself but its a favourite for UK thieve's at the moment.

About £4500 new here so not much dearer than a couple of manafacturer's 125's.

Ideal for Thailand's roads,not too big or not too small.

Sukhumvit and the onto Floating Market.  After that found this place a short walk from Floating Market. The original plan after the Floating Market was to find Coffee Wars but that was a further 24 minutes walk; so no for me.

20181215-20181215-IMG_2792.jpg

Whilst by no means a substantial structure, this place seems OK.

20181215-20181215-IMG_2793.jpg

Ongoing work here; rumoured to be an Indian Restaurant.  Acquired by same group that have some premises in Second Road.

Chunky Monkey still well patronised.  A place for cheap charlies, however the price of the special keeps increasing.  No doubt BM @Evil Penevil

will give more detail/information.

Some old ones there I think.  The McDonalds next to the Butchers was open on my last visit.

Yes I do try to keep this thread going when I am in Pattaya.  Unfortunately I have not been too well since yesterday lunchtime and so made a post from the archives so to speak.  Dinner tonight will be the first time I have left the condo since yesterday afternoon.

A few from this evening's walk.  Naklua Road to Terminal 21, along to Beach Road and then onto and along Soi 6.  From Ski 6 back on Second Road to the Dolphin Circus.

Nothing special.

You can see from some of the distance shots how misty it has been here.  This is something I have not previously noticed here but it is very prevalent In Hong Kong and on occasions Singapore.
