Shaksey
Absolute fricking living legend. Best Test opener ever, no argument. Perhaps if he'd not played 160 odd tests in a row, and had a mid-career break he might have felt it within himself to continue his Test career a couple more years. Not moaning though, he did alright 😉 Youngest player (from any country) to score 6,000, 7,000, 8,000, 9,000, 10,000, 11,000 and 12,000 runs in Test cricket. First opener to reach over 11,000 and 12,000 Test runs. 5th most runs in Test cricket of all time. All-time highest non-Asian run scorer in Asia. Most consecutive Test matches played of all time. Highest scoring left-hander of all time in Test cricket. Most centuries in second innings in Test cricket of all time. Most innings by any opener in Test cricket of all time.
