Yeah, once a year the parents would take us up to the Smoke & Grime for a weekend. One night was the Talk of the Town and the other was usually the Black & White Minstrels. Really spectacular and colourful seeing it in the flesh, and the dancers were a pretty fit bunch of scantily clad (though white, lol) birds.
