It's funny, we still have the odd sticker or sign at work saying "2m" and "COVID - the fight is not over". Looking back, Those 2 years or so went by so fast. Nightcrawler Posted May 9, 2024 Posted May 9, 2024 Makes me think, when I occasionally have a moan about Pattaya, what it must have been like during Covid lockdown. Terrible times everywhere around the globe, but how quickly we have recovered and take normality for granted. How quickly too Pattaya has recovered and now a thriving city. I feel for the businesses that went bust and those who suddenly had no work. No furlows like we had in UK and little social subsistence. People often living on the street and queuing for food and water. We got through it, and are the lucky ones, whilst many didn't make it to live another day. 3 4 Quote
