Restaurants cleared to serve again?

nothing announced or approved yet.  someone jumoped the gun on the news articles that have floated on FB and for the RH, which was subsequently told.. to close.   chances are restaurants will open, for food only.  there is a reason for that.  and its all in the translation.

Rahn Ahan is the word for restuarnats, cafes, diners and roadside tin shacks with plastic seats.  closing Rahn ahan, menas thais cant get food, as most dont cook.  so a bi product of making sure workers can eat, is that restaurants and diners can open too

amd anyone who believes the region has peaked, and troughed in 24 hrs needs their head examining,

either that or they will believe tomorrows headline.. "Nick rock ate my hamster"

( which he did btw, bit thats another story)

Good to hear as this from your previous post had me thinking we were going into another lockdown.

Yes I had noticed that too, but last night's announcement appears to be a general one as to what measures they might take at some point. It doesn't mention anything in particular about bars and/or restaurants either, so whether restaurants may continue to open with or without alcohol (like in Bangkok) is still up in the air.

I'm guessing they'll wait for today's covid figures to be released before making a decision.

Trying to follow the restrictions as they apply to Pattaya is difficult to follow.

I was under the impression that the above had already been extended to Pattaya or was expected to be announced as being extended to Pattaya today?

Or maybe neither of the above is correct.

As usual, it seems to vary according to whom one speaks. 🙄
