Very Difficult Times

I've never felt such depth of despair as I have recently. What those guys were confronted with and how they battled is unprecidented and unimaginable. The fact theat they were placed in those circumstances unconsciousable. If there ever in my lifetime was a point where I felt someone was deserving of being called a hero(s) it was this day - Jan. 6, 2021.

Link worked fine for me. Very very sad story. PTSD is a real thing, and it disgusts me that these people are taking their own lives because they’re not getting the proper help. It’s a big problem here in Canada too, we have a tiny Armed Forces compared to the USA, but dozens of Afghan war veterans especially, have committed suicide. I guess there are some things that can’t be unseen, as these DC officers ended their lives so soon after that one event......it’s not always a drawn out struggle.

We had a sick bastard in 2008 stab(AND EAT) a young man on a Greyhound bus, near Winnipeg. Sick f—k is already free under a new identity, while the authorities “trust him to take his meds”. Meanwhile, I believe 2 first responders to that incident have taken their lives.....the scene was just too traumatic.

Unbelievable how many resources we spend on immigrants, and lazy people who just want to cheat the system, but can’t spend a few more $ to counsel cops and soldiers who risked their lives

Unfortunately several of the attackers were ex-military.

I'm totally behind the police here-it's appalling what happened. Watching from the UK I find it mind bending to hear people trying to state these weren't Trump supporters attacking the capital but Antifa etc.

Totally sad world we are in that ends in this.
