john luke
From this morning's walk. Just to address some of the negativity; bars and the like have been closed for some time. Other than that up to yesterday everything else was open with supply exceeding demand; in effect a customers market. I was disappointed when restuarants were closed in respect of dining in, however yesterday, I visited the supermarket and purchased an amount of goods and for yesterdays dinner I enjoyed a beautiful peice of salmon (slightly larger than one would get in a restuarant) with french fries and some vegetables, followed by some fresh pineapple chunks purchased locally. I had a glass of beer with it too. I have always believed that in Pattaya one needs something to do, be it walking, photography, cycling, pool, golf or whatever and not rely too much on drinking in bars and their associated activities. The positive is that prices seem to be dropping slightly and it is a buyers market; all good for the consumer.

Incredible value and very nice. 3

john luke
A few from this morning. The three wheeler with the flat tyre was in situ there on 30th April 2019 and does not appear to have moved.
john luke
Food being given out on Second Road, seemed a little hit and miss as they were flagging down cars and baht buses and giving occupants free food.
john luke
This event seemed well orchestrqted. The officials had people sitting down two metres apart in lines whilst others came down the lines giving out food. The people were clapping as staff distributed the food.
