Painter Posted December 18, 2021 Posted December 18, 2021 Wake up, turn on TMS with trepidation.... 165-5. Could be a lot worse, I suppose. 1

Apart from malan and Root, and now stokes and woakes, the biggest partnership was 7. Heads have got to roll... havent they...? 1
Painter Posted December 18, 2021 Posted December 18, 2021 (edited) 236 all out. Shambles. The collapse was 86 -8. That's impressive...! Edited December 18, 2021 by Painter 1 1

coxyhog Posted December 18, 2021 Author Posted December 18, 2021 25 Extras in the Aussie first innings, only 3 English batsmen could better that score. 2
Chang_Paarp Posted December 19, 2021 Posted December 19, 2021 The poms got 2 quick wickets to start the day. Even the Aussie commentators are saying it should have been 3 with Smith given not out on an LBW call. Seems they have remembered how to bowl. BBC and ABC media boxes are empty today due to a COVID positive test. Malan, who was interviewed by BBC yesterday called a casual contact, lucky.
Zeb Posted December 19, 2021 Posted December 19, 2021 4-116 with overall lead of 353. Declaration anytime after 430-450 lead ? Poms to bat under the lights tonight. 1
galenkia Posted December 19, 2021 Posted December 19, 2021 Good start, but looking ominous with Labuschange and Head settling in. Mountain to climb and absolute miracle needed 😂 1
Painter Posted December 19, 2021 Posted December 19, 2021 (edited) Woken up, Aussies are 450odd in front. Root injured. Robinson bowling off breaks. Malan bowling whatever Malan bowls. And there's no Aggers et all to list to. It's not going to be a good day... Edited December 19, 2021 by Painter 1
Painter Posted December 19, 2021 Posted December 19, 2021 England's openers in prime form, yet again.....
Zeb Posted December 19, 2021 Posted December 19, 2021 (edited) Looks a great evening in Adelaide - couple of nice coldies..... The BBC commentary box was empty on Sunday after a member of its Test Match Special team tested positive to COVID-19. Edited December 19, 2021 by Zeb

From what I can figure out the ABC team in Adelaide also isn't allowed in the ground today. The BBC are broadcasting remote commentary from an ABC team in Perth, who are "being careful what we say, as we're on the BBC , but England haven't a hope...." 1 1
Chang_Paarp Posted December 19, 2021 Posted December 19, 2021 End of day 4 England 4 - 82 needing another 386 to win
