john luke
Just going through last nights photographs. I was located just in front of the big yellow structure with the picture of the King in ceremonial dress. It was a better view than last night from the Dusit, where I was looking at it side ways on. The down side was the density of the crowd. @forcebwithumentioned earlier the close proximity of the display barge to the shore line and the associated viewing angle. I had my lens around to 30 mm mark with very little cropping necessary.
john luke
Perhaps I did it the wrong way round but we booked the evening Fireworks buffet at the Dusit Thani on Friday evening and attended the second showing on Beach Road near the structure with the King in ceremonial dress. Between the two Fireworks shows I stumbled upon the Kite Event which was being held at the Walking Street end of the beach. 2
john luke
Saturday afternoon was quite busy in Pattaya; please see first photograph. Food and other stalls were erected on Beach Road for the Firework Festival. It was at this time that I saw the kites flying above the beach as I proceeded towards Walking Street.
john luke
Pattaya this evening was as busy as I have seen it; the event was divided into four sections. I actually left after the third section. Beach Road, Second Road and Naklua Road all congested. I took a motor cycle taxi as I did not fancy sharing a Baht bus with about ten others! The photographs were taken at between 8 and 15 seconds at f8/f11.

CampariO
Those must be the best pics of fireworks I have ever seen. Thinking about printing them and putting them in frames. Much better than red cars 😜. The kite pics are great as well. Thank you!

john luke
Back to normality Pay at the Pump, self service for fuel has not reached Thailand as yet. I have seen up to six people at this site on Naklua Road. Music Festival part two is scheduled for Naklua next weekend and then this event, which was formally called the Night Market. Merry Christmas from La Baguette. Dolphin Circus A few from the beach; quite misty in the distance but a breeze blowing. These signs appear about every 100 metres. The jet skis are back but I have not seen many being used. Main use seems to be pulling the banana boat. Repairing the block paving near sir 5. Work on the gap between the pavement and the beach. 3

john luke
I do not think many will be taking advantage of this. A couple of bars in Soi 6 being painted. Coffee in Soi 6. Beach Road. I think the stage will be remaining in situ for the other Music Festival weekends. Lisa Bar on the Beach. Difference in mist effect looking left and right. Refurbished Coffee Bar at Mikes Mall. Not sure what the flash sale refers to; the shop or the erectile disfunction medications stall 😄 3

Sorry, I meant they do those along with the 1000 you mentioned. The 1000 has been around nearly 20 years.

Kawasaki have naked and faired 1000 cc, a mate has an old 1200 faired bike ZX12R and there was a 1400 tourer. The 900 and 650 retro style bikes are popular now.
