It was about 10 years ago I visited Nong Nooch. Back then I was able to show them my Thai DL to get the Thai price. It is multi priced. It is cheaper if one books on line, which I did not. There does appear to be a Thai price.

Derek Dangleberries
There had been a 10 year hiatus between my visits when I went there with my sons a few years ago. I was very surprised to see how much it had been improved and expanded, I know that I am an overcritical grumpy old bastard but I think it is well worth the 500 Baht entrance fee. john luke
About 10 or so minutes from Pattaya; at 120 baht taxi ride (Bolt). Never been. before. It is an unusual combination of rock formations and zoo animals. I have taken pictures of the animals; that said whilst I am not a militant ALF supporter, I do believe animals are best kept in a more natural environment rather than in cages. I do appreciate however that some of the animals would not be alive if they were not kept in a zoo. The crocodile show I do not like; it is an abuse of the crocodiles in my view, but I did take photographs, because that is what I do. Perhaps not everyone's cup of tea but a good two and a half hours of walking through the site. Admission 500 baht.

forcebwithu
Nong Nooch was our first date for the lady I've now been with for 10 years. Happy she isn't big on marking anniversary dates as I see from the date stamp on this picture it was taken on Jan 28, 2012. I was also there a couple of years earlier, this time Nov 2011. Rarely do selfies, but given the background thought it was appropriate. Wish I still had that waistline.

john luke
I had never heard of the sport before, however it appears similar to a cross between table tennis and football. Hosted at Central Festival over a three day period. Today is day 2.

Blue Streak
Beach Rd ..late afternoon........ john luke
During the past few months, we have tended to have dinner, at Terminal 21, Mai Thai or Bella Italia; this evening we visited Yahoo in Central Festival for dinner, arriving shortly after 1900 hours. Whilst there were people in Central Festival, I have never seen it as quiet as I did this evening. I just wonder what other members who are in Pattaya think? Popular Post john luke
Probably for the last time this trip, I visited Naklua Sea Food Market and the bridge located on the main road a little further into Naklua. Previously I have tended to shy away from the Sea Food Market, due to risk of Covid 19 in markets. 5
john luke
The first three photographs will probably be familiar to everyone. The market on Second Road probably now has a stall occupancy over 80%. Not too impressed with some of the tailors' suits.
Krapow
I miss the sizzler salad buffet, especially the seafood chowder. Also see a few very nice snide Nike trainers there. 9 weeks today we'll be in Bangkok, just hopefully not in quarantine in a hospital
